![]() There will be some story elements when The Fierce gets low on HP for you to fulfill.ĭon't forget to search the lobby of the citadel for treasures after beating The Fierce and before proceeding up the elevator. At this point, for the rest of the fight you'll be using Gladiolus. Towards the end of the fight The Fierce will conjure up a shield and go invulernable to your attacks and you'll switch from controlling Noctis to Gladiolus who is capable of breaking through the shield. ![]() Alternatively, Warp out of the melee range to one of the balconys when he does this to avoid it too. Use that when he pulls everyone in and starts beating your face in with his mace. This boss has a few really annoying gravity attacks which Prompto's Piercer ability work fantastically for. Inside the citadel your first boss fight will be against The Fierce, he's part of the Royal Pack DLC and you'll skip right to Ardyn otherwise. The attack animation on this ability will make you invulnerable to whatever is going on. I've repeated it time and time again throughout my entire guide but that proves how useful it is. Tip: If you need help avoiding damage use Prompt's Piercer Tech Ability. You actually can't defeat Ifrit without using a Summon. Once you get him low enough in HP to use the Summon command - do so to end the battle. Whenever he has his friend shield up he'll take very very little damage from your attacks. Ifrit has a few attacks, the majority of them will one shot you so avoid them at all costs otherwise you'll have to spam restoratives.Īttack Ifrit when he is not surrounded by fire to deal the most damage to him. After you deal enough damage to him there will be a cutscene followed by the actual battle with him in the streets. The first part of the Ifrit fight is a piece of cake since he has very little HP and never stands up from his throne. Once you're inside of the citadel you'll have a fight against Ifrit - he is not part of the DLC and you may remember some of the scenes you see before the battle from way early in the game. This same logic applies to many of the other bosses added in the Royal Pack DLC, I learned this the hard way after defeating Cerberus twice and having him literally respawn on me. The fight with Cerberus is pretty intense as he jumps around a lot and climbs the nearby buildings and does quite a bit of AoE fire damage.ĭon't defeat Cerberus with a Summon or the Ring of Lucii or it may bug out and force you to fight him again. >Ĭrown City Without A King, Relics of the Empire and A Glaive Out of Timeįollowing the main story line quest marker the first boss that you will encounter is Cerberus whom is part of the Royal Pack DLC. The rest of this walkthrough will assume that you have the Royal Pack DLC installed, if you do not have this DLC then skip ahead to the parts of this guide that are relevant to you. Those of you without this DLC will have a linear trip to Ardyn and the other final bosses. You'll actually be able to complete some side quests here and it'll add more to the end game content for FF15. If you own the Royal Pack DLC then there will be a hub in Insomnia where the Kingsglaives are with Cor and other survivors. Rusted Bit: Next to the shop in the center of town.ĭepending on the version of Final Fantasy 15 you're playing determines how much there is to do in Insomnia. Shattered Timepiece: Behind Takka's Diner in some rubble. Old Book: Outside Cid's garage on the table next to the truck. Each location of a treasure is marked on my compass location above, as well as talked about below. There are a few treasures for you to find in Hammerhead before departing too. You should have plenty of treasures to sell from the last dungeon. I highly recommend taking that advice and buying as many Elixirs and Hi-Elixirs as you think you'll need as well as anything else. These last 10 years.īack in Hammerhead you'll be warned that this is your last opportunity to stock up on curative items before the final battle (which is true if you're playing the game with no DLC). You'll also be filled in on everything that has happened. From here you'll want to run north as far as possible until a scene begins where you'll be driven the rest of the way to your quest marker. When you start this chapter you will arrive back at a completely dark Galdin Quay.
